Instructions
- Wash the meat and place onions, bananas, and bay leaves in the pot.
- Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over.
- Cook over low heat for about 2–3 hours (1 ½ hour in a pressure cooker) until meat is tender.
- Can add vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, and carrots.
If you prefer, feel free to brown the meat and onions first and then proceed with the rest of the dish.

I made my oxtail from this recipe and it was delicious! I did add the banana. Furthermore, I also added a dash of sherry. Will be making it again, the family loved it.
