Sausage Stew and Bake Beans

Sausage Stew and Bake Beans, a good meal for a cold evening

TRH Colleen's Sausage Stew and Bake Beans
Ingredients

  • 2 onions sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 3 allspice
  • Dhania or beef sausage cut up
  • 4 potatoes cut into quarters
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 teaspoon egg yellow
  • 1 tin Koo baked beans
  • 1 teaspoon garlic&ginger&dhania paste
  • Sugar to taste

Method

Braise onions in little oil in a pot
Add allspice And allow onions to braising until brown
Add potatoes and garlic & ginger, dhania paste, and cumin & coriander
Add little water, then allow to cook for 10 mins
Add chopped up sausages and add a teaspoon of egg yellow
Allow cooking until sausage is done
Add in a tin of baked beans, salt & pepper & sugar to taste
Simmer for 5mins
Make sure you have a nice gravy/sauce and serve with rice
