1. Peel, core, and cut up apples
2. Place into the water – don’t worry that water isn’t covering – it shouldn’t be.
3. Cook on medium heat until the apples are nice and soft. Each variety of apples will give a different time to stew.
4. Place the fork in to test if soft – please be very careful with the steam and do not burn yourself. Don’t be in a hurry.
5. When soft, take it off the stove and let it cool.
6. Once cool, I use a blending stick and blend till purée.
7. Put in refrigerator.

Alternatives

Sometimes I like to add a nice sprinkle of cinnamon and/or nutmeg.
It gives it a different and lovely taste.
Serve alone or with jello, custard, and Malta pudding, the road and imagination are endless.
