Description

This is my go-to breakfast smoothie when I want something bright, creamy, and not boring. It’s quick, flexible, and honestly tastes better than it looks in the blender.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup mixed frozen berries (blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 3/4 cup natural Balkan-style yoghurt (or whatever you have available)
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup ripe papaya, cubed
  • 1/2 cup carrot juice
  • 1 scoop protein powder

Instructions

  1. Add 1 cup mixed frozen berries, 3/4 cup natural Balkan-style yoghurt, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup papaya, 1/2 cup carrot juice, and 1 scoop protein powder to your blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping once or twice to scrape down the sides if the berries stick.
  3. Taste it and adjust with a splash more coconut milk if you like it thinner, then drink it straight away while it’s cold and fresh.
