Description
This quick treat is gooey, nutty, chocolatey, and seriously addictive. Just grab a can of biscuits, a few mix-ins, and you’re good to go.
Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 1 can Pillsbury country biscuits (10 biscuits)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (use in 2 parts)
- ±150g mascarpone
- 1 ml ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Demerara sugar (use in 2 parts)
- 2 ml vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Grease your pan well. Spray it or rub it down with margarine, just don’t skip this part.
- Sprinkle in half the nuts (¼ cup) at the bottom of the pan.
- Stretch and place 5 biscuits over the nuts.
- Tug them a little to make them longer, not round, so they fit better.
- Mix mascarpone, cinnamon, ¼ cup sugar, and vanilla in a bowl with a fork until smooth.
- Spoon the mascarpone mix evenly over each of the 5 biscuits.
- Top with the remaining 5 biscuits, again pulling them slightly to cover gaps and overlap a bit.
- Add chocolate chips, remaining sugar, and nuts on top.
- Use less sugar if you prefer it less sweet.
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
Tips:
- Mix up the nuts or chocolate if you like.
- Best eaten warm, soft, melty, and perfect for sharing (or not!).
This is the kind of pull-apart bread you’ll want to make on repeat.
