Description

What says “Summer” more than a delicious Watermelon Rosé Granita? You can omit the Rosé and make it kid-friendly as well.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups Watermelon
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey (optional)
  • Lime Zest (garnish)
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsp. Lime Juice
  • 1 cup of Rosé Wine (for adults only)

Instructions

  1. Blend all the ingredients until it is smooth.
  2. Strain it to remove any seeds.
  3. Pour into a wide pan.
  4. It’s best to use a loaf pan.
  5. Allow it to freeze.
  6. Scrape the surface with a fork every 30 minutes until it is completely frozen.
  7. It will eventually look like fluffy red snow.
  8. Serve with lime zest on top and enjoy!!

For the adults

  1. A Rosé Granita.
  2. Add 1 Cup of Rosé wine to the blended mixture and freeze then serve in a glass with a slice of lime.
  3. Or top with wine.
