Watermelon Rosé Granita

An easy 5 or 6 ingredient Watermelon Granita for a hot summer’s day.

Can you leave granita in the freezer?

It tastes best eaten within a day or two of making it. Store it in the freezer, but if the granita happens to melt, you can refreeze it, scraping it along the way.

Granita is a simple Italian dessert, originating from Sicily. It’s made with sugar, water, and some kind of fruit.

What is Granita?

Granita is a frozen fruit dessert made from fresh fruit and water, blended and frozen until icy, flaked with a fork, and frozen again. The result is a delightfully crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth fruit ice, perfect for eating all on its own.
