1 sliced banana (fresh or frozen)
¼ cup slivered almonds
1 heaped tablespoon cacao powder
1½ tablespoons shredded coconut (preferably unsweetened)
1 scoop vanilla Whey protein powder
¼ cup vanilla french yogurt
¾ cup vanilla almond soy milk – you can add more if you wish to have a thinner smoothie, or add any juice you like.
1-2 handful of baby spinach – again your choice of the amount of greens you need. (this time I only used 1 handful)
1 medjool date, pitted – optional if you feel you need it sweet, but I omitted the date as I used sweetened coconut.
Place in blender, blend and enjoy.
