These delicious Apple Sauce Muffins are sweetened with well, yes you guessed it, applesauce and spiced with cinnamon
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 cup castor sugar.
- 2 tsp baking powder.
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder.
- ¼ tsp salt.
- 1 large egg, beaten.
- 1 cup chopped walnuts.
- 250ml apple sauce.
- ½ cup melted margarine.

Method:
In a bowl, mix cake flour, castor sugar, baking powder, cinnamon powder, and salt in a bowl.
Mix well.
Add in the beaten egg, apple sauce, and melted margarine.
Whisk until smooth and there are no lumps.
Fold in your nuts.
Fill your greased muffin pans and pop into a pre-heated oven.
Bake at 180C for 15 – 20 minutes or until the cake tester comes out clean.

Bobby, as you may probably remember, I have apple sauce (I call mine stewed apple) every week that I make so this could be fab for guests. Alas I have to cut the nuts – allergies but they should be just as amazing as your recipes are awesome
