Ingredients
Meatball Ingredients
- 200–300g Ground Meat (your choice)
- 1 Teaspoon Powdered Ginger
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 2–3 Cloves Garlic (grated)
- 1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Spring Onion (chopped)
- Salt & Pepper to taste

Sauce Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
- sriracha Sauce (to your heat level)
- 2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger (grated)
- 2–3 Cloves Garlic (grated)
- 1 Tablespoon Honey / Tomato Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Flour & Water (slurry)
- Chopped Spring Onion (garnish)
- Sesame Seeds (garnish)

Instructions
Make the Meatballs
- Combine all the meatball ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Use your hands (or a spoon, if you’re not into that) to mix everything until it’s well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small, evenly sized balls.
- Brown them in a hot pan until they’re golden and cooked through, or bake them in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes.
Create the Sauce
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together all the sauce ingredients except the sesame oil, slurry, and garnishes.
- Add the grated ginger and garlic and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.
- Cook for about 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Slowly stir in the flour-water slurry and keep cooking until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Remove from heat, then stir in the sesame oil for a touch of nuttiness.
- Add the cooked meatballs to the saucepan and gently stir to coat each one evenly in the glossy sauce.
- Be gentle, nobody likes broken meatballs!
- Sprinkle your dish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve these flavor-packed meatballs with blanched broccoli, leftover rice tossed with Edamame and carrots, or even noodles if you’re feeling adventurous.
