It is moist and full of flavor, these are such awesome Banana Bread Bars With Brown Butter Frosting, you will have a new favorite once you made this
1½ cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
½ cup softened butter
3-4 ripe bananas mashed
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
3/4 tsp salt
½ cup chopped walnuts
Brown Butter Frosting
½ cup butter
4 cups icing sugar
1½ tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp milk
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Grease and flour 25×10 jelly roll pan.
Beat sugar, eggs, sour cream and butter till creamy.
Blend in bananas and vanilla.
Sift flour, bicarb, and salt. Add.
Stir in walnut.
Spread evenly into pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden.
Heat butter in a saucepan over medium till boiling.
Let it turn a delicate brown then remove immediately.
Add icing sugar, vanilla, and milk and whisk until smooth.
(It should be thicker than a glaze but thinner than frosting).
Spread over bars while still warm
