I love Barn Owls. They are so cute. I put one n my Amanda in Malta book.
Hi Darlene – They are very cute and the added bonus being that we see them here on the marsh next to our house.
Lucky you!
Yes I totally agree, we are so fortunate
The owl looks so pretty and I also loved this: Make tomorrow more amazing than today!
Thanks for sharing with us at the Senior Salon Pit Stop
Hi Julie. Good to see you’re back. Thanks for your kind words regarding the owl. We are so fortunate to be able to see these creatures in our area.
Wow, that owl is amazing, Esme. Love the photos.
Thank you so much, loved nature and I was so extremely fortunate to see this own during the day as theyβre usual nocturnal but do come out to hunt through the day especially in our area over the marsh as they will find lots and lots of food.
I thought owls were night-time creatures, EsmΓ©?
A great capture.
Hi Hugh, The barn owl is nocturnal but they also hunts by day, especially when feeding chicks. We are very fortunate, although they are no longer common we still get them here in our area with the grasslands as we have lots of voles there which is they feed on.
