INGREDIENTS:
2 cups steel cut oats
200g frozen black cherries ******
3 cups almond milk******
¼ cup shredded unsweetened coconut
2 heaped tsps. ground chia seed
1 heaped tsp flaxseed
1 heaped tsp whole psyllium husk (optional)
¼ up to ½ cup maple syrup (depending on how sweet you want it)
1 tsp vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
Blend the frozen cherries and 1½ cups to milk to a puree. Add more milk if required to get it to a soft puree.
In large mixing bowl mix all the ingredients. You may add more milk if you like, but get it more runny, but would suggest that you wait till the following morning, to add it, because then you will be able to see the consistency.
Place in the refrigerator overnight and eat the next morning.
***** You can use any berries you prefer
***** I have only made it with almond milk, but am sure you can use any milk of your choice
