Braised Turkey with Peas served for your evening meal, what can be better than this satisfying meal
Ingredients
- 1kg turkey skin removed
- 2 teaspoons ginger and garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon jeera powder (cumin powder )
- 1 teaspoon dhania powder (coriander powder )
- 1 tablespoon masala (curry powder )
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 onion sliced
- 2 tomatoes diced
Method
- Heat two tablespoons of oil add two cinnamon sticks and onion fry until the onion has browned add turkey spices tomatoes ginger and garlic and salt.
- Cover and cook on medium heat for approximately 25 minutes.
- Add peas and cook on low for 15 minutes add a tablespoon or two of water if necessary.
