- 3 cups (approximately) 1 punnet of oyster mushrooms
- Fine breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tbsp Cornflour (Maizena)
- Cold water
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, Cornflour, seasoning, and just enough cold water to make a smooth batter. No lumps allowed!
- Dip those mushrooms in. Shake off the extra batter like you mean it.
- Coat them in breadcrumbs, press gently so they stick like glue.
- Fry in hot oil until they’re gloriously golden and crispy.
