Incredibly delicious Low Carb Pokora
Ingredients
1 small onion diced
1/2 spring onion chopped
1/4 cup cilantro chopped
1 small bunch spinach leaves chopped
1 Tblspn garlic paste
A Crack of sea salt / Himalayan pink salt
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup almond flour
2 tbsp psyllium husk
1 tsp ground jeera/cumin
1 tsp ground koljana / coriander
1 tsp chili powder / cayenne pepper / hot paprika
1 tsp roasted masala/leaf masala
1/2 tsp turmeric
Water (as required)
Method:
Combine all the ingredients together and mix thoroughly.
Add drops of water to make a thick batter.
Allow the batter to rest for 15-20 mins.
Heat palm oil/coconut oil in a pan.
The oil should not be too deep but also not too shallow.
About 1-2 finger digits deep.
Fry on medium heat till both sides are browned.
Cool on kitchen towel. Serve with your favorite home-made chutney.
