1 small onion diced
1/2 spring onion chopped
1/4 cup cilantro chopped
1 small bunch spinach leaves chopped
1 Tblspn garlic paste
Crack of sea salt / himilayan pink salt
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup almond flour
2 Tblspns psyllium husk
1 tspn ground jeera / cumin
1 tspn ground koljana / coriander
1 tspn chili powder / cayenne pepper / hot paprika
1 tspn roasted masala / leaf masala
1/2 tspn turmeric
Water (as required)
Combine all the ingredients together and mix thoroughly.
Add drops of water to make a thick batter.
Allow the batter to rest for 15-20 mins.
Heat palm oil / coconut oil in a pan.
The oil should not be too deep bit also not too shallow.
About 1-2 finger digits deep.
Fry on medium heat till both sides are browned.
Cool on kitchen towel. Serve with your favorite home-made chutney.
