Eggless Scrambled Eggs

How to make your own vegan EGGLESS SCRAMBLED EGGS!  This to me sounds very much like an oxymoron, Eggless scrambled Eggs.  What do you think?

Ingredients:
1 onion, finely chopped.
Generous pinch of turmeric powder.
1 fresh green chili, finely chopped.
chili freshly grated ginger
4 cherry tomatoes, chopped.
400g paneer, crumbled.
¼ cup frozen peas.
Salt and pepper to season.

 

EGGLESS SCRAMBLED EGGS

Method:
Heat some oil in a pan.
Add the onions, chili, ginger, and tomatoes and saute until the onions are transparent and the tomatoes are cooked.
Add the crumbled paneer and seasoning and give it a good stir.
Sprinkle the turmeric powder over the top and mix well till everything has a nice yellow tinge to it.
Finally, add the frozen peas and allow to heat through.
Once the peas are cooked, remove from the heat and serve immediately.

    How can this be vegan as paneer is made from milk?

      Paneer is a fresh cheese common in South Asia, especially in Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi cuisines. It is an unaged, acid-set, non-melting farmer cheese or curd cheese made by curdling heated milk with lemon juice, vinegar, or any other food acids.
      This was given to me by my FB group and as not vegan myself not familiar with it. I will check in with the source.
