  1. We have a bald eagles nest down by our pond. My husband will get his shotgun out to see it. Not to shoot but uses the scope to get a close look! We know it’s against the law to actually shoot them!! I think it’s funny how he uses his scope and I would use my camera 🙂

    1. When I read shotgun, I thought oh oh. But I am happy that you clarified it immediately.
At present, we have 3 nests about a 10km drive from us, and then all are located within a 2km walk. One of our favorite walking spots.

      1. Yes, I was thinking I might have someone turn me in to the Fish and Game warden. Made sure to write not to shoot!!

  2. Such a beautiful photo of the bald eagle. I see them all the time where I live, but I’m never been able to get a photo of one. Thanks for the party.

    1. Thanks Amy. We are very fortunate to have 3 Bald Eagle nests about 10 km drive from us and then within a 2 km walk. They are nesting at the moment, so we go often to check them out.
