  1. Hi, Esme. Thank you for linking up at Gma’sPhoto Tongue Tied Link party. However, I did not see where you provided the requested information of the images taken. What camera did you use, if edited, what software or apps used to make the edits.
    Take care and best wishes.

    • Morning Debra. Sorry about that, I did not see the request to add the info. It’s a picture taken with my iPhone and usually I will enhance (if needed) the color contract via iPhone and upload to Canva to add to the frame. Feel free to delete if not acceptable.

      • Oh, I will not delete. I appreciate your participation. I am curious as to what camera gear is used to get all the wonderful shots shared. And editing software is something I am interested in as well. On my PC, I use Photoshop. I really do not like the phone app for photoshop. So any alternative I would be interested in. I like Pic Jointer on the phone for collages and Pic Tap Go for editing the images. I would like to find something that can combine the functions of both of these apps.
        Take care and best wishes.

As mentioned I use my iPhone a lot, otherwise I have lately started to use a very old Nikon Coolpix P610 but as I am not that huge into photography (I love taking happy snaps). When I edit the pics from the Nikon I only use FastStone Image Viewer 7.4 and then do what’s needed to mostly sharpen, crop etc. I then upload the images to Canva, add to my frames etc. add verbiage etc. Download and compress with the Free Optimizilla online image optimizer (https://imagecompressor.com/). Once done I upload to my media and then also have ShortPixel Image Optimizer do the rest (my aff link should you be interested in this one: https://esmesalon.com/recommends/shortpixel-image-optimization-plugin/)

Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any other information. I am here and happy to help in whatever way possible.

    • Hi Hugh. Glad you like this one. I also love this one as it has special meaning to me as its from the beach back in SA about 5 km away from where we used to stay before moving to Canada more than 26 years ago. I agree with you that the clouds does look rather ominous. Must admit this was taken some 10 years ago when I visited and do not recall the exact circumstances and the weather on that particular day.
