Ingredients
1kg Tenderised steak
Robertson steak and chop spice
Robertson Braai Mix spice and Peri Peri
Aromat
mix all well together.
Fry steak on both side in oil and close with lid.
Add more water if needed.
Cook until soft and succulent.
Add 2 sliced red onions and Worchesterhire sauce.
Method:
Cook further until onions thickens the sauce.
Serve with garlic dinner rolls and Potato and Spinach side dish with salads.
Feriel’s Quick Garlic Dinner Rolls
Ingredients:
4 Cups cake flour
plus half cup cake flour
one teaspoon baking powder
half teaspoon garlic powder
one teaspoon fine salt
one and half teaspoon sugar
10 g instant yeast
Liquids:
250 ml milk
250 ml boil water
125 ml olive oil
Method:
Sieve flours add sugar, salt, garlic powder and yeast and mix.
add all the liquids to dry ingredients, mix well to formed a soft dough.
Pat oil on top of dough and set a side to rise for 1 hour.
Grease a baking tray with oil.
Make rolls by cutting pieces of dough and shaping as desired.
Place shape rolls in greased tray and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Bake in thermofan oven for 17 minutes / convection oven 20 mins or more.
Brush with melted butter with chopped fresh garlic over rolls while hot.
Garnish with fresh Dhania.

Feriel’s Aloo Palak (Potato & Spinach)
Ingredients:
300 g potatoes cut in rings
salt to taste
half teaspoon turmeric
boil together in water until soft
mean while fry one onion in 30 ml oil, add 1 teaspoon mustard seed.
10 ml crushed garlic
5 ml fine chopped fresh ginger
1 green fresh chilli chopped
2.5 ml Cumin seeds, ground Cumin, ground Coriander and Garam masala.
Method:
Stir all above together and add 300g baby spinach and allow to wilt.
Add spinach mixture to potatoes and add 25 ml fresh cream and toss all well.
Garnish with fresh Dhania leaves (Coriander leaves)
