4 jumbo eggs
One cup sugar (250 ml)
One cup oil (250 ml)
2-3 oranges (squeeze out juice of oranges and use the rind of orange peel) about 250 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
2 cups self-raising flour (500 ml)
One and half teaspoon baking powder (7.5 ml)
Grease a 24 cm ring pan
Cream sugar and eggs.
Add oil and sieved dry ingredients and liquids
Oven temp 180C and bake ± 30 – 35 minutes
Drizzle with icing sugar.
1 cup icing sugar mix with little boiling water.
Add teaspoonful water to icing sugar until a thick consistency.
Can serve without icing too. Enjoy
