Corn fritters are fritters made of corn. Originating in Native American cuisine, they are a traditional sweet and savory snack in the Southern United States, as well as Indonesia where they are known as perkedel jagung or bakwan jagung
1 tin Koo cream style sweet corn
½ tsp salt
1 tsp ground green chilies
3 chopped spring onions
375 ml cup self-raising flour
Mix all above ingredients together
Drop tablespoons of mixture in hot frying pan greased with a little oil
Fry until golden brown
Serve hot with chutney.
