Super Moist and Delicious!!
125g butter OR Stork Bake
250 ml sugar
3 mashed bananas
2 cups self-raising flour
5 ml baking powder
5 ml bicarbonate of soda
5 ml vanilla essence
walnuts and pistachios nuts
Cream 125g butter or Stork Bake with 1 cup sugar.
Add 2 eggs and beat well.
Add 3 overripe mashed bananas.
Add 2 cups sieved self-raising flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
Add walnuts and pistachios nuts.
Mix well and spoon into a parchment lined baking loaf.
The mixture can be baked in 2 small loaf pans or 1 medium size pan.
Baked on 180C for 30 minutes in thermofan oven OR 35 to 40 minutes in a convection oven or until golden brown.
Cool off and remove linings and cut in thick slices.
