6 large eggs
1 cup sifted castor sugar
1 cup cake flour sifted
Preheat oven 180°C
Using 2 bowls separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl beat egg yolks with castor sugar for 3 minutes until pale and fluffy.
With a spatula slowly and bit by bit add egg yolk mixture to egg whites incorporating until all combined.
Sift flour and incorporate bit by bit with a spatula until all combined.
Mixture should be light and fluffy.
Pour batter into a 23 cm flan baking tin that has been greased sprinkle with flour.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until a skewer when inserted comes away clean.
Remove to cooling rack.
2 bananas sliced into rings
1 tin Nestle caramel treat
1 cup whipped cream
1 crumbled flake chocolate
Arrange bananas in top of flan, cover with caramel treat, top with whipped cream and crumbled flake chocolate
