Gail's Chicken Kebabs
Hi all 😊 yummy dinner last night, chicken skewers 😊
6 Chicken breast fillets cut into cubes
1 of each: red, green & orange bell peppers roughly chopped.
5 – 7 small red onions halved.
Soak skewer sticks in water for 15 mins.
Thread chicken onto skewers alternating with red onion and peppers.
In a bowl add :
80 ml soy sauce
2 tbsp orange juice
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp Sriracha chilli sauce
2 tbsp honey
1½ tsp salt
1½ tsp black pepper
1½ tsp paprika
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp cumin
3 tsp garlic paste
2 tbsp honey
Stir and add chicken meat skewers coating well.
Leave in fridge for 2 hours, turning occasionally.
Boil up reserved marinade and use to baste chicken while grilling.
Grill in oven for 12 to 15 mins turning once or grill on BBQ over med to hot coals.
