A delicious chocolate tart for dessert π big smiles all round ππEnjoy!
Ingredients
1 tin condensed milk
3 cups milk – Β½ cup + 2Β½ cups
3 tbsp corn flour
4 tbsp cocoa powder
5ml vanilla essence
2 eggs
4 tbsp butter
Base: 1 packet of coconut/tennis biscuits crushed in food processor mixed with 3 tbsp melted butter.
Press into greased pie dish.
Bake in 180Β°C oven for 10 mins. Remove.
In a jug add Β½ cup milk, cornflour, cocoa powder, vanilla essence and eggs.
Stir together until smooth.
Heat remainder 2Β½ cups milk and condensed milk in a saucepan while stirring. Don’t boil.
Milk must be hot and steamy then add ingredients from your jug slowly to milk while whisking continuously until the mixture thickens. Around 5 mins.
Remove from heat and stir in 4 tbsp butter.
Pour thick custard over your biscuit base and let cool at room temperature for 1Β½ hours.
Decorate as needed.
