Late night cravings … Ooh so naughty but oh so nice … Stewed guavas with cream #cravingsatisfied
750 g guavas skin removed (10 guavas)
Enough water to cover guavas
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 large sticks cinnamon
Peel guavas and place in saucepan with enough water to just cover.
Add sugar and cinnamon sticks. Bring to boil.
Simmer for 5 to 6 mins, remove from stove and refrigerate until cooled.
Serve with vanilla custard or fresh whipped cream.
Sprinkle cream with cinnamon.
