Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #631

Welcome to the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #631!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
I’m Katie from Love My Messy Messy Mess and it is my absolute pleasure to host our #631 blog hop as I begin my hostess duties for the month of April.
April just so happens to be my birthday month – any fellow April babies out there???
I am so glad you are taking some time out of your busy holiday weekend to check us out – feel free to click around and see what our bloggers have to share this week.

This Week’s Features

Affirmations for a Fresh Start this Spring
In the last year I have become a big fan of affirmations – visualizing and manifesting your best self.  This post for Affirmations for a Fresh Start this Spring is just the ticket to corral all of those positive vibes.
Carrot cake is one of my favorite cakes both to bake and eat – it’s the healthiest one, right? :). I always like to share some time of beverage at my parties so obviously I had to pick these Carrot Cake Shots – cheers!
My kids loving making different kinds of treats with pretzels.  Check out this tutorial for Easter Bunny Pretzels – don’t their little bunny butts look so cute?

I told you I loved carrot cake, so of course I had to feature this recipe for Carrot Cake Cookies – I will definitely be making these over my spring break!

I love being able to create something on my own, really any kind of simple DIY.  I love having flowers and greens – real or faux – in my decor to give my home life.  This tutorial for Three Simple Ways to Create Faux Topiaries looks like a fun project, with many of the necessary items already in my possession!

  1. Hi Esme! Thanks for hosting! Can you tell Katie I said thanks for featuring my DIY topiaries, since I didn’t see this party on her blog. Hope you all have a wonderful week!

    1. Thanks Donna, will do that. I’m not sure what happened why the post does not show up on her end, but I will alert her.

  2. I went to Kate’s site to comment. Noticed she does not have the current .link party posted. So I need to say ‘Thank you’ to you, Esme for the party!!

    1. Thanks, Debra. I will let her know, not sure what happened, that it’s not on her blog. Thanks for taking the time to visit her and then come back here.
