Happiness is Homemade # 639

Hello and welcome to Happiness is Homemade!

Come and join in the fun here at Happiness is Homemade # 639

Thank you for visiting, linking up, sharing, and spreading the love around by commenting and visiting other blogs.

Remember that you can also share your links with us at SSPS, Monday 2:00 AM to Saturday 2:00 PM (Vancouver, BC, time).

It is a sad week as we say Good Bye to Bev from Eclectic Red Barn. She and I have been co hosts for a good many of years, back to the original days I swear or close to it. Bev and I were both officially converted to Hosts officially Jan 10, 2016 so yes I had to find the first post and share it. We wish you all the success Bev. We will miss her as a cohost but hopefully she will be sharing lots of links in our weekly parties.

So I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention we started with 12 and guests and now we are down to only 4 of us. If you are interested in joining our party as a host please reach out to one of us. I truly would love to see a resurgence of hosts and link ups. Lets get the glory days back shall we.

There has been so many great features shared with us every week and I truly hope Y’all continue sharing everything you are working on.

Happiness is Homemade 639 Features

What if the cutest thing at your pool party this summer wasn’t a floatie, a playlist, or even the snack table — but a cookie?

These nutter butter cookie flip flops from Huney I’m Home are the no bake summer dessert you didn’t know your life was missing. Chocolate-covered Nutter Butter cookies get dipped, decorated, and dolled up into the most adorable tiny flip flops you’ve ever seen — and the best part? Zero oven required.

Summer Cocktail Makeover: Frozen Hugo Spritz

Salt Prairie shared she was looking for something new and a friend recommended a Hugo spritz. But the minute I tried it I knew it would make a delicious frozen cocktail as well — which is exactly why I gave the classic Hugo Spritz a frozen summer makeover

Best Healthy Tri-Color Sweet Cole Slaw Mayo-Free

Carol on the Lake caught my attention. In the past, I’ve shared multiple salad recipes with shredded cabbage. I just love cabbage. I’m a fan of any crunchy slaw that comes together fast and balances out a meal.

Then I discovered broccoli slaw and fell in love again. Most of the cabbage/broccoli salads used a creamy dressing that contained mayonnaise and few were sweet. My sister’s family is definitely a fan of sweet slaw. Today’s version of healthy coleslaw is vegan, Paleo, and dairy-free.

Simple Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Homemade on a Weeknight shares a fun summer treat. This is a perfect summer time dinner option. With just a handful of ingredients, you can easily get them set up in the oven and on the table in less than 30 minutes. With the classic flavors of buffalo chicken with ranch, the whole family is going to adore these Simple Buffalo Chicken Sliders.

Easy DIY Tropical Bird Craft Using Wallpaper Samples

This simple tropical bird craft from Pillar Box Blue  is a fun way to turn everyday scraps into cheerful decorations. Using thin cardboard, wallpaper samples, and glue, you can create bright, patterned cockatoos that work beautifully as plant pot decorations or strung together into a playful summer garland.
