A simple homemade Honey Lemon sauce and Chicken baked until delicious and sticky.

Where did chicken wings originally come from?

The invention of chicken wings occurred in Buffalo, New York, at the Anchor Bar in 1964. The bar’s owner, Teressa Bellissimo, mistakenly ordered a case of chicken wings when she meant to order a case of chicken necks, which her husband, Frank Bellissimo, used to make the Anchor Inn’s famous spaghetti sauce.

  2. A terrific recipe! Obviously it’s not for every day, but a nice way to take a break from lean proteins and veggies, and with a nice bowl of steamed broccoli next to this, it would balance out perfectly!

    • Hi John, This is so good, one should make this on a regular basis, (however regular you wish), be that once a month or bi-weekly. Hope you will enjoy it whenever you try it out.

    • Dear Joy. Thanks for popping in. I truly hope you will enjoy this one. Be sure to keep lots or napkins, or better a wet cloth next to you as you will for sure need this. Afterwards a bath may also be needed, as this is truly delicious and worth all the sticky hands and face.
