Irene's Basic Lamb Curry with Curried Sugar Beans

Repurposing left overs….left over lamb curry mixed with left over sugar beans curry on a bed of roti with lime pickles…Yummilicious 💝😘 
Basic Lamb Curry
Fry 1 onion in very little oil with a teaspoon of jeera seeds,
1 star anise and 2 bay leaves.
Add 1 tsp tumeric,
2 tsp dhania jeera powder,
2 tsp ginger and garlic paste,
1 tsp soomph powder,
2 tbs bombay masala,
2 tbs kashmiri chilli powder and braise for +- 5 mins.
Add 2kg Leg mutton (I used lamb),
curry leaves and salt to taste, mix well with spices and cook on medium heat until half done.
Add halved potatoes, 1 tomato (grated) and half cup water if necessary.
Cook until potatoes are done.
Sprinkle with a tsp garam masala.
Easy Sugar Beans Curry
Fry 1 onion in a little oil with half tsp of jeera seeds and 1 bay leaf.
Add 1 tsp tumeric,
1 tsp dhania jeera powder,
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste,
1 tbs bombay masala,
1 tbs kashmiri chilli powder and braise for +- 5 mins.
Add 3 potatoes that have been peeled, cubed and steamed in the microwave for +-4 mins, curry leaves,
1 grated tomato and salt to taste, mix well with spices and cook on medium heat for +- 5 mins.
Add 2 tbs tomato paste & 2 cans sugar beans and cook on medium heat until all veggies are cooked through & gravy is thick.
Add water whenever necessary, a little at a time.
Sprinkle with a tsp garam masala.
