Ingredients:
3 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup sugar (add more if you like…up to 1 cup)
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
250g butter / margarine
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup choc-chips
Directions
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar & desiccated coconut.
Rub in butter/margarine.
Mix the egg, vanilla essence and milk in a small bowl and using a fork, stir into flour mixture until moistened.
Add choc-chips. Knead dough lightly.
Press dough out and cut into desired shapes.
Add more choc chips on top if you like.
Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 deg cel, or until light brown.
