Irene's Lemon and Almond Creams

TRH Irene's Lemon and Almond Creams
250g butter / good quality margarine
1/4 cup oil
1tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup Maizena (corn flour)
2-3 cups flour
Mix first 4 ingredients together until creamy.
Mix in maizena and flour (a little at a time) until u have a soft, workable dough.
Roll into balls and press down.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for +- 10 mins.
Must not get too brown.
Cool completely and then ice.
125g white wooden spoon margarine
2 cups icing sugar
+-2 tbs milk
Cream ingredients together until smooth and thick.
Separate equally into 2 bowls.
Add 1 tsp lemon essence to one and 1 tsp almond essence to the other and mix well.
Join biscuits with cream.
