Irene's One batch 3-way biscuits

Biscuits
Ingredients:
250g butter / good quality margarine
1/4 cup oil1tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup Maizena (corn flour)
+-3 cups flour
Variants:
1 tsp freshly ground cardamom + ½ cup whole almonds
±½ cup chocolate chips
Sprinkles
Method:
Mix first 4 ingredients together until creamy.
Mix in maizena and flour (a little at a time) until you have a soft, workable dough.
Divide dough into 3.
Add cardamom to one part, roll into balls and place an almond into each.
Next 2 portions can be rolled into balls and pressed down with a fork, add chocolate chips on top or into one portion of dough and sprinkles on the last portion.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170C for +- 10 mins.
Must not get too brown.
Cool completely and enjoy.
