Ingredients:
2 cups self-raising flour
2 tbs klim (optional…it’s my preference)
Pinch of salt (optional because self-raising flour has salt but I like extra)
3 eggs
½ cup sugar (can go up to 1 cup if you like)
1½cups milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 tsp caramel essence
Method:
Mix the first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
In a second bowl, mix next 3 ingredients.
Mix both together properly and then add the melted butter mixed with essence to the batter and mix in.
Add a small amount of butter/oil to a non-stick sandwich press and drop batter (as big as you like) and cook on one side until bubbles appear, flip over and close press until done (+-30 seconds).
Serve with syrup/honey / cinnamon sugar or any toppings of your choice.
Enjoy!

Hi cookandenjoyrecipes. I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. You can check it out on my page, combingthecatacombs.wordpress.com. If you choose not to participate that is fine as well. I know they can sometimes be time consuming. Thanks.
Oh my word, I am dumbstruck. THank you so much for this nomination and yes I will accept and pay it forward. Hope it will be acceptable to work on this over the weekend. Thanks again for this nomination and thinking of me. <3 <3
Oh, that’s okay, take your time. It took me well over a week to do it, and I still did it wrong. When I wrote it, it doesn’t appear the way it does as it is up. I also couldn’t figure out how to do the links.
As for the appearance, not sure if you use wordpress, but when I do a post I can preview it and see what it will look like before posting. I find that a very helpful tool and try to always use it.
As for linking, again on wordpress, you will find a ‘link’ image (iunsert/edit link). I use that constantly. The other option I also make use of would be to go the the blog name you wish to link to, copy and paste that in your post. You may just have to adjust the ‘setting’ to paragraph, but again do the preview check and then you can see how your post will look like.
All the best, I must admit, it also took me a bit of time to get the hang of it and to figure out the tricks. Good luck
Thanks for the suggestions and info. My posts for the most part have come out the way I wanted them too. I have used that preview button, but I must not have used it for that post. I am also working on another award, A through Z. That one will take me a bit longer.
I have used the link image, and also done the copy and paste, and it did not work on all of them. It worked on some, I don’t know if I am doing something wrong or what, but this whole blog has been trial and error for me. I learn new things as I go on, and also talking to fellow bloggers. I should have it mastered by now. It’s been well over a year.
If you need any more help, please give me a should, I will help as best I can. I do not know everything, but will share what I know. <3
Thank you, I appreciate that. You make it pretty simple when you explain it. I like that.
My motto: Sharing is Caring I <3 to help if I can.
Very good motto, and we sure could use more people with that attitude.
You make me blush. Thanks
It’s nice to meet kind and caring people in this often cold and cruel world.
<3 <3 more blushing
I blush easily myself. It would be great if all the bloggers could get together and meet each other. That would be awesome.
A HUGE blog party in person – WOW
Yes, like a convention.
It will be mega huge huge huge
I think it would be a great idea and event.
Where will you host such an event and will you co-ordinate it????
Well you are in Canada are you not? It would have to be somewhere centrally located, I would think. The thing is wordpress is international. That is a good question. I am a terrible co-ordinater. Hopefully someone will come up with an event like that.
Yes, I am in Canada – you set the wheels in motion and let’s see what happens
Just to let you know, I decided to not procrastinate and just do it.

Warm wishes and happy blogging from The Recipe Hunter (Cook&Enjoy)
I saw this after I read it. You have my respect and admiration for just doing it. I am good at procrastinating.
Thanks, I know myself, do it as tomorrow you do not know what will happen and then it may be a while before I get to it. 🙂
Well, I was working on it, and it was taking a lot of time, since I couldn’t understand what I was doing. I had done one before, but that one was easier.
It will get easier – just go with your heart.
Will do, and more good advice.
They look really good
