21 Mar Jameela's Steak Filling for pies, subs, pitas, sandwiches and pizzas
1 kg tenderized rump steak cut into cubes
2 tsp crushed green chilli
1 tbls ginger and garlic paste
1 tbls lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp crushed dhania
1 tsp crushed jeero
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp crushed red chillies
1 tsp steak and chops spice
1 tsp bbq spice
2 tbls tomato paste
3 tblsp tomato sauce
2 tblsp steers peri peri sauce
2 tbls oil
2 tbls ghee
Heat the oil and ghee in a pot.
Add the steak and spices and cook for half an hour .
Add the sauces and tomato paste and cook for further half hour.
Garnish with dhania when completely cold.
Note: The pastry is ready cut, store bought pastry
