Jewish Shauvout Ginger Cake

Try this one, and you will want to make them for Shauvout every year.

Ingredients
½ cup sugar
½ cup + 2 Tbls Cake Meal
½ cup Potato Flour/Potato Starch
3 eggs
½ cup oil
½ cup warm water
10ml Bicarbonate of soda
5ml mixed spice
5ml ginger
2ml cinnamon
Method:
Beat oil, syrup, sugar, and eggs.
Mix Bicarbonate of soda with warm water.
Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with liquid.
Beat well (it is a liquid batter).
Grease and line sides of a 10cm x 23cm (4 x 9″) loaf tin so the parchment paper stands 5cm above sides.
Pour in batter.
Bake at 180C (350F) for 45 minutes
