Description
Let’s talk waffles, crispy, golden, and keto-friendly. If you’re craving something quick, easy, and downright delicious, these mini waffles are it.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 25ml almond flour
- 12.5ml sour cream
- 1ml baking powder
- 5ml cream
- 1 strip of bacon

Instructions
- Chop up your bacon into bite-sized pieces and cook it just the way you like. Crispy? Go for it. Softer? You do you!
- Toss everything into a bowl: egg, almond flour, sour cream, baking powder, cream, and that crispy bacon.
- Stir it up and let it sit for a few minutes. This little pause lets the batter thicken, which makes for better waffles.
- Heat your Mini Dash Waffle Maker and let it get nice and hot.
- Pour in about half the batter, close the lid.
- Cook for 6 minutes, and you will have a waffle that’s golden, crispy.
- Take it out (carefully!) and repeat with the rest of the batter.
- Plate them up and enjoy.
- If you’re feeling fancy, a little extra sour cream or a sprinkle of fresh herbs never hurt anyone.

Hi Paula, I love my mini waffles/chaffles – they are so easy to whip up and have handy for breakfast. I make double or triple batches, and keep them in the fridge for quick breakfast. Enjoy
This sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing this post with us at the Will Blog for Comments #66 linkup. Hope to see you next week at #67, too.
Thanks, Jennifer, much appreciated, yes I love my Keto Waffles or chaffles. Enjoy and for sure I will be there next week.
I’m a big fan of waffles! My mother used to bake them all the time, and I did too. But then I kind of forgot. You’ve reminded me of the greatness of waffles. I’m going to bake some this week.
Hi Nicole, Hope you will enjoy these and get back to your waffles.
I don’t eat bacon but i like the idea of using almond flour. Is that the same as almond meal?
cheers

Hi Sherry, You can use any other meat or protein you wish. I had some bacon available, thus adding it, but I have also used chicken in these waffles. Enjoy it.
