Wordless Wednesday – Allow your photo(s) to tell the story

This does warrant some explanation and words.

We (Husband, Daughter, SIL, and I) did this Cycling Trip through the Myra Canyon Trestles Trail, ± 24 km, and it took us approximately 3-3½ hours, with lots of stops for pictures, on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

There are 18 trestle bridges along Myra Canyon, built by hand over a century ago. This was one of the last sections of the Kettle Valley Railway to be built. Partly, this was because the terrain made it so difficult, as the canyon is very deep, wide, and steep. The railway opened in 1915 and was the main route for transportation (and communication) from the BC interior to the coast up until 1949.

Come, participate, and join us weekly at our very own #WordlessWednesday #Photography. Let your photos do the talking. (Words are also welcome.) The linkup will always start on Wednesday at 2:15 a.m. and end on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.

If you’d like to join in, check out my other #WordlessWednesday posts here: Wordless Wednesday (Words also welcome).

Feel free to drop a link to your own #WordlessWednesday post in the comments. I’d love you to stop by and leave a comment!

P.S. All the photos in my #WordlessWednesday #Photography posts were taken by my husband or me.
