Lamb Knuckles String Beans Stew, Tomato meatballs

Get ready to prepare your own home-made Lamb Knuckles String Beans Stew, Tomato meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 500 g string beans
  • 8 pieces knuckles
  • 1 onion
  • salt and Robertson pure black pepper
  • sunflower oil
  • 1 chili
  • 3 small potatoes cut into cubes
  • Trimmed and wash knuckles.
  • Season with black pepper.

Method:

  1. Fry both sides of the meat in oil until golden brown.
    Add chopped onion and chili and add a little water at a time until knuckles are soft and tender.
    Add sliced string beans, salt, and cubed potatoes to taste.
  2. Serve with Creamy Sella Basmati Rice and home-cooked beetroot cut into thick slices
  3. Enjoy

Tomato meatballs

Ingredients

  • 500g pure steak mince
  • 1 grated red onion
  • 3 slices stale bread (soaked and drained)
  • 1 egg
  • chopped spinach
  • salt and pure black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Robertson’s Spice for mince

Method:

  1. Mix all the above ingredients together and drain well in a colander.

For tomato sauce

  1. Chop one onion finely and braise slightly in oil.
  2. Add whole green chili.
  3. Grate 5 tomatoes and add to the onion mixture.
  4. Add a small packet of tomato paste, some salt, and sugar to taste.
  5. Simmer for 2 minutes and add a little water to the sauce.
  6. Make small round meatballs and place them into the sauce, but DO not stir.
  7. Close with a lid and give a light shake until sauce covers the meatballs.
  8. Garnish with fresh Dhania.
  9. Serve with Sella basmati rice and homemade veggies Atchar. Enjoy.
