Medjool Dates Delight is the perfect treat for the weekend
125 g butter OR Stork Bake
62.5ml (quarter cup) sugar
250 ml finely chopped Medjool (remove pits) dates OR Seedless Date without pits
1 beaten egg
1 pkt Blue Label Marie Biscuits
62.5 ml (1/4 cup) slivered almonds
Melt butter and sugar together
Add finely chopped dates and pieces of biscuits
Mix thoroughly and remove from the stove
Press mixture in a greased pyrex dish and cut into squares or bars when set.
Refrigerate for approximately 1-2 hours or until firm.
