I’ve been craving just chops for a while now, and satisfied my craving with a very slight adaptation of lots and lots of LAHORI CHOPS. Simply divine!
Ingredients
1 kg lamb chops
1 tblsp garlic/ginger paste
2 red chillies chopped
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp turmeric
1 tsp chili powder
2 tblsp tomato sauce
2 tblsp sweet chili sauce
2 tblsp lemon Juice
1 tsp steak and chops spice
1 tsp BBQ spice
¼ tsp black pepper
(Mix all the above spices in a bowl. Add the chops. Rub into chops and marinate for a few hours)
3 tblsp ghee
4 garlic cloves chopped
Stir fry ingredients
1 Red onion, sliced into rings
½ green, red, and yellow pepper, julienned
1 tomato, chopped
1 green chili
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp turmeric
2 tblsp ghee
Method
Heat 3 tblsp ghee. Add garlic and fry 30 seconds.
Add chops and braise on medium heat until cooked and tender.
In a separate pan, heat 2 tblsp ghee and onion, fry till tender.
Add remaining ingredients and stir fry till tomatoes broken down and cooked through.
Arrange chops on a platter.
Arrange stir fry on top.
Garnish with fresh dhania
