Ingredients
4 huge pieces of steak of choice (Can’t remember the amount I bought). ±1 Kg.
Wash the steak till nice and clean.
3 large onions finely sliced.
1 teaspoon whole cumin seeds.
2 Tablespoon oil.
Salt to taste.
1 teaspoon khokney masala.
2 heaped Tablespoons leaf masala.
1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
1 teaspoon steak masala.
1/2 teaspoon fine cumin.
Mix the following sauces :
8 Tablespoon tomato sauce.
6 Tablespoon dhania sauce.
3 Tablespoon sweet chili sauce.
2 Tablespoon chili garlic sauce.
2 Tablespoon Mrs balls.
2 large green peppers sliced.
4 large carrots peeled and sliced.
Method:
Braise onion in oil with the cumin seeds, till light in colour.
Add the steak and saute for 5 minutes.
Add all the masala and mix well. Cover with a lid and allow to cook till almost done. Do not add water.
Once almost done, add the green pepper and carrots.
Allow to cook till the steak is done and dry.
Lastly add the sauce and cook for 10 minutes.
Once cooked well add 1/4 cup chopped coriander.
Serve with rice or in a roti wrap with feta and mayo or make rolls with it or even serve it with roti and beetroot.
