Perfect treat as a snack or to fill the cookie tins, even as an afternoon snack for the kids as a special treat. Just be cautious, it does contain NUTS, so please check for nut allergies before giving it out.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml graham cracker crumbs
  • 750 ml pecan halves, finely chopped
  • 250 ml brown sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 88118 ml melted butter
  • 125 ml pure maple syrup
  • 680 g chocolate almond bark

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham crackers, brown sugar, maple syrup, and chopped pecans.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and only enough of the melted butter so the mix comes together and can be rolled into a ball without falling apart.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch-sized balls and set them on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. When all dough is rolled, set the tray in the refrigerator or the freezer for one hour.
  5. Melt the almond bark according to the package directions.
  6. Dip each one of the pecan pie balls into the melted chocolate and place it back onto the parchment-covered tray.
  7. Let sit until the chocolate hardens.

    • Love a no bake as its so easy for our then 11 year grand daughter to do. We typically do a lot of baking for Christmas time and then try to add some no bake for her to participate as well. This one we all loved as it tasted truly yummy
