These tunnels are part of the so-called “Kettle Valley Railway” which was started in the 1890s and completed in 1915. You can read more about the railway here

What a great place for a walk or a hike. There is also marvellous scenery to take in. I bet it’s a place to visit during all four seasons. The autumn colours must be amazing.

I totally agree, that climbing and working up there, its not for me, but fortunately it seemed like these workers and happy to do it.
So beautiful. I would love to explore this area in person.
