Ingredients
- 16 oz (450g) Brussels sprouts, rinsed
- 3 Tbsp. (37.5 ml) melted no salt butter
- 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml) coarse salt
- 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml) freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. (5 ml) Italian seasoning ******
- 3 garlic cloves, minced or 1 1/2 tsp. (7.5 ml) bottled crushed/minced garlic
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
******Make your own Italian Seasoning:
- 2 Tbsp. dried basil
- 2 Tbsp. dried oregano
- 1 Tbsp. dried rosemary
- 2 Tbsp. dried parsley
- 1 Tbsp. dried thyme
- 1 Tbsp. red chili flakes
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
Mix and store in an airtight container!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400F (200C).
- Trim the stalk from the Brussels sprouts, and slice each in half, lengthwise.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Easier and less cleaning up.
- Combine all the remaining ingredients in a large bowl (salt, pepper, seasoning, garlic, parmesan, and melted butter).
- After you washed and cleaned the sprouts dry them with a paper towel and toss them in a bowl with the other ingredients and mix gently to coat the sprouts.
- Pack them out on the prepared baking sheet (cut side down) in a single layer.
- Bake the Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts for 25 to 30 minutes depending on your oven.
- Make sure that they are a nice golden brown.
- Once ready serve and if you like, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and enjoy!
