Ingredients

  • 16 oz (450g) Brussels sprouts, rinsed
  • 3 Tbsp. (37.5 ml) melted no salt butter
  • 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml) coarse salt
  • 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml) freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. (5 ml) Italian seasoning ******
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced or 1 1/2 tsp. (7.5 ml) bottled crushed/minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) freshly grated Parmesan cheese

******Make your own Italian Seasoning:

Mix and store in an airtight container!

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F (200C).
  2. Trim the stalk from the Brussels sprouts, and slice each in half, lengthwise.
  3. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.Β  Easier and less cleaning up.
  4. Combine all the remaining ingredients in a large bowl (salt, pepper, seasoning, garlic, parmesan, and melted butter).
  5. After you washed and cleaned the sprouts dry them with a paper towel and toss them in a bowl with the other ingredients and mix gently to coat the sprouts.
  6. Pack them out on the prepared baking sheet (cut side down) in a single layer.
  7. Bake the Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts for 25 to 30 minutes depending on your oven.Β 
  8. Make sure that they are a nice golden brown.
  9. Once ready serve and if you like, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and enjoy!
