Pearls in Oyster Cookies for a Mermaid-themed Birthday Party
I made these for my daughter’s birthday party, and they were a huge hit! It’s not really a recipe so much as assembling parts but turned out to be quite cute.
Ingredients:
“Nilla” or other small, round cookies
Icing
Food coloring (I used a violet purple)
White or pearly hard candy balls
Method:
Mix coloring into icing for the desired color.
Use a piping bag to pipe icing onto one cookie so that it’s slightly thicker on one side.
Place a second cookie on top, angled like an opening shell.
Lastly, place one pearl candy onto the icing.
Enjoy!
