Potato and Green Bean Curry

This is a great and simple dry Indian potato and green bean curry that will be a hit in your home!

Potato and Green Bean Curry

Ingredients:
Generous pinch of asafetida
½ tsp jeera seeds.
¼ tsp black onion seeds.
1 tbsp. grated ginger.
2 tbsp. tomato puree
A handful of sliced green beans.
2 potatoes, cubed.
Salt to taste.
¼ tsp masala.
½ tsp garam masala.

Method:
Heat some oil in a pot.
Add the asafetida and give it a good stir.
Add the cumin and onion seeds and allow them to come to a sizzle.
Add the ginger, tomato puree, stir and allow to cook until the paste starts to thicken.
Add about 1 cup of water, the green beans, and potatoes, salt and masala, give it a good stir, cover, and allow to cook until the potatoes are cooked.
You can add more water if need be.
Remove from the stove and sprinkle the garam masala over the top.
