A simple but delicious recipe to try this Diwali
1/2 cup butter
1/4 to 1/2 cup brown sugar
4 Tbspn water
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups Rice Krispies
In a saucepan heat together, chopped dates, butter, water, sugar and vanilla essence.
Cook on medium heat until the mixture forms a thick paste.
Allow cooling slightly then add the Rice Krispie.
Mix well and mould into ping pong size balls, coat in desiccated coconut.
